2nd Christmas without children but behind bars!?

Remember:

  • in April 2010 the first five children were taken – without reason, justification or paperwork – just with pure force and the violence of eight police officers and social workers
  • in June 2010, the sixth baby was taken with even more violence after birth, returned for four months and seized again after a most dubiously staged ‘drugging scenario’
  • the Musas were dragged into 27 hearings in family courts
  • and on 28th November they were arrested – supposedly for ‘jumping bail’, i.e. not attending to police stations when they were supposed to: three times a week – often waiting for up to 4 hours to be seen to
  • the list of allegations seems to get longer from day to day
  • and due to the “seriousness of the allegations”, bail could not be granted by the lay Magistrates Court in Haringey on 29th November and 7th December

The next hearing is scheduled for 28th December in Highbury Magistates Court.

A bail application will be submitted asap.

“What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.” So what’s the advantage of being in prison?

  • the secrecy of family courts is being replaced by the openness of a criminal court
  • the prosecutor needs to prove the allegations beyond ‘probabilities’, i.e. in much more detail and with much higher scrutiny than in family courts
  • a Nigerian solicitor and marvellous barrister are representing the parents instead of having to represent and fend for themselves.
