Intimidation and Punishment of Victims and Witnesses

I am far from knowing all of the bullying, harassment and intimidation that the Musas themselves have had to endure. Their latest arrest was “only” the last in a long series of horrible experiences. But the arrest did not end up in a criminal court as Maurice Kirk succeeded with two actions

1. After trying to recuperate the documents that were promised to the Musas at the offices of their solicitors (Friday, Sept. 16)  – in the presence of two police officers – he offered to fly the children out of the country, if only Haringey were to volunteer to reunite the family (Saturday, Sept 17); on this occasion he was held behind a locked door unlawfully and was convicted to smashing it up as well as for “conspiracy to commit child abduction” – to be heard in Haringey Magistrates Court on 14th November
2. when revisiting the solicitors, without being able to get any of the promised documents, he supposedly committed a “racially aggravated public offence” (Tuesday, Sept 20) which will be heard in Highbury Magistrates Court on 28th November.

• five women supporters had their children taken by Haringey Council
• and the man who used to be their driver had to go to prison for some months!

Having now learned about how arrests are being handled, it is very strange that the Musas were sent to hospital and NOT before a Magistrates Court! But that seems to be the ‘wisdom’ of Haringey Police who clearly do NOT want the Musa case before an open Magistrates Court.
